The Philippines can be an agrarian economy with agriculture being the key occupation of its people. Most of its people reside in the rural parts and follow different livelihood possibilities in the agricultural sector. Pampanga Agriculture School: Generally recognized being an agricultural school, Pampanga Agriculture School became a state school in September 1974. Originally were only available in 1885, this century old institution is located on the foothills of the Stunning Mt. Arayat in town of Magalang, province of Pampanga. It's disseminate on a location of 700 hectares of government agricultural lands. The main focus of the school is on Training, Research & Growth, Extension Instruction and Production.

Currently the school presents 13 under-graduate programs, 2-year computer class, 2-year class in agricultural engineering, agricultural science senior high school, and graduate schools for three owners and three doctoral degrees.

Xavier College - School of Agriculture: That prestigious institution was launched in 1953 by the late Fr. Bill F. Masterson and is the second oldest amongst the colleges of agriculture in Mindanao and also has the happy place of being the only real Catholic School of Agriculture in the whole country. It can be the founding person in the Association of Colleges of Agriculture of the Philippines (ACAP).

The curriculum of Xavier College - School of Agriculture is an exceptional mixture of active field function and the liberal arts formation. The main push of the school is on Training, Research, Extension and Production.

In addition to the above two academic institutions, additionally there are a great many other state paid Universities which give education on the various facets of agriculture. The majority of the colleges are connected with some international faculty and companies which give useful inputs on a regular basis.
